Blog entry # 2   In this entry, you will summarize your curricular integration project plans for the class, identify what you’ll need to complete the project, identify what you hope to learn by doing the project, and provide a discussion of how you can connect what you learn and do on the class project to your own teaching practices. An important theme of this blog entry should be how your project connects to your classroom and teaching practices.

My CIP is a webquest which 5th grade students can learn about the Human body and its systems.  The students will need to research the body's system and create a project about a particular system they chose.  Students projects could be a presentation using power point,3d- model, video, or a skit. They will be working with groups of 6 to complete this project. Resources needed for the project will be access to a computer lab for research time and if they choose to do a power point presentation.  If the student chooses to do a movie, they will need access to a recording device as well as basic editing on the computer.

Right now, since I do not have a classroom and have not developed a teaching strategy, I hope to learn how webquests can be integrated into the lesson plans.  Also, how the lesson plan is set up to be user friendly toward the students so they can maximize their time within the lab.  This project is teaching me all the integral parts associated with planning lessons and what standard they are meeting.  In the future, I hope to use this webquest and others in my classroom.  Depending on which grade and future resources available, i hope to have technology like this available to my students.
